Youth at Hope Church Aldershot
Hope Church has a thriving youth programme for young people in school years 7-13, where they can hang out, have fun and get to know other young people alongside learning about Jesus and getting involved in serving in church life.
Basement
On the second and fourth Sunday of the month, our younger aged youth (school years 7-9) meet during the Sunday service.
In Basement they can engage with their faith in an accessible and relevant way, with teaching from the bible, prayer and other activities.
Attic
Attic is the growth group for our older teens in school years 10-13, hosted at one of the homes of our amazing youth team. Attic meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
This is a place where faith and life are worked out together with friends and is important in building up and encouraging our young people. There is also a considerable amount of fun and snacks!
Socials
We aim to gather the youth together on a regular basis outside of Sunday services for social activities and events where they can spend time together, build friendships and connect with each other socially.
Newday
Each year, we take young people from the church to Newday, one of the largest Christian youth events in the UK. It is open to anyone of secondary school age (years 7-13). The aim of Newday is to envision and equip in God a generation to play their part in the world. The event includes worship, teaching and seminars, as well as sporting tournaments, cafes and lots of social activities.
Serving
We encourage our older teens to serve on a Sunday during the service.
Serving is a great way to contribute to church life and build community.
